Susan Marilyn Block, Ph.D., aka “Dr. Suzy,” founder and CEO of the Susan Marilyn Block Foundation, is an award-winning sexologist, best-known for her groundbreaking HBO specials, and the best-selling author of The Bonobo Way: The Evolution of Peace through Pleasure. A graduate of Yale University with honors, she has hosted The Dr. Susan Block Show for over 30 years, been interviewed on many programs and given lectures at numerous conventions, colleges and universities. She and her husband Max founded and direct Dr. Suzy’s Speakeasy Art Gallery, and Bonoboville—helping humans connect and save the bonobos—and together they host FDR radio. But she’ll never quit her “day job” as a therapist with the Dr. Susan Block Institute, helping individuals, couples and groups to explore, enjoy and take responsibility for their sexual lives.
